NAVIGATING CO-PARENTING

Co-parenting can present a whole lot of challenges for moms. And it can bring up a ton of different emotions.

Today’s guest, Leslie Holthoff, is a Doctoral student studying perspectives of joint shared custody through the eyes of adults who have aged out of the two-home system. She is a relationship coach focused on co-parenting and divorce, helping people make the best decisions based on their future, not on emotions.

We dive into divorce, talk about the key to successful co-parenting, and even get some tips on how to handle the holidays!

ESSENTIAL MINUTE | FORGIVE

A lot of emotions, resentment and anger can be held on to when co-parenting. Thank goodness we have essential oils to add to our toolbox!

When essential oils are inhaled or put on topically, their compounds are known to influence the chemistry of the body and brain. It does this through the olfactory bulb that sends signals to the part of the brain that deals with moods and emotions.

I thought the perfect oil to highlight for todays episode is Forgive, the renewing blend. When inhaled and/or put on typically, this oil promotes feelings of contentment, relief, and patience AND counteracts negative emotions of anger and guilt.

Forgive is just one of the awesome oils in the doTERRA Emotional Aromatherapy collection.
